If you’ve already purchased my Hana Pony plushie sewing pattern, here is a free sewing pattern for your pony plush to become a magical unicorn or pegasus!
Step 1: Print the pattern at 100%, 300dpi, 1792px x 1260px. Make sure the red square box prints out at 1″. All seam allowance is 1/4″, the same as the rest of your plushie.
Step 2: Cut 1 of the horn in fleece A, fold in half and pin the horn at the fold line, and sew along the side, leaving the bottom open(the dotted line). Cut 4 of the wings in fleece A, and pin 2 pieces together for each wing, right sides facing together. Sew around the wings, leaving open the flat side. Clip edges, turn, and use chalk to draw a line on the wings per the dotted line in the pattern. Topstitch over this line as you did with the tail, and remove chalk markings.
Step 3: Turn the horn and stuff lightly, and align it on the forehead so that the seam faces the back, not the front. Carefully pin in place on the head, and ladder-stitch the horn to the head. Be sure to catch the seam allowance in your sewing so that the seam is hidden.
Step 4: Pin the wings in place on the back(they do not need stuffing), and either whip-stitch or ladder-stitch them on.
I’d love to see what you make with this pattern ~
